• Linguistic skills
I am a graduate of the University of Lyon II, where I obtained a research master's degree in Lexicology, Multilingual Terminology and Translation. Before that, I obtained a bachelor's degree in Applied Foreign Languages – Business & Commerce,oriented towards international trade and marketing, followed by a taught master's degree in Language Industries and Specialised Translation at the University of Paris VII.
• Experience
In our industry, there is no better training than working in a translation agency. My experience in a translation firm in Lyon enabled me not only to acquire in-depth knowledge of various technical fields (automotive, mechanics, electricity, electronics, etc.), but also to understand market expectations: quality, rapidity and flexibility; respecting customer terminology; the importance of computer-aided translation tools, etc.
• Organisation, rigour, trust
Respecting deadlines and following instructions to the letter are of the utmost importance. This is something I noticed at the start of my career "on the other side of the fence" as a project manager.
